The Heroj class were a group of submarines built for and operated by the Yugoslav Navy

Design

These boats were designed in Yugoslavia and were second group of indigenous submarines. They had a number of improvements relative to the preceding Sutjeska class submarines, including an improved hull form optimised for underwater performance and more up to date Soviet radars.
